Bergen Bike Tour 2010

Pack 175 will be participating in the 15th annual Bergen Bike Tour, which supports the Tomorrow's Children's Fund and the Volunteer Center of Bergen County.  The tour provides a 10, 25 & 50 mile route, as well as a kids ride for any little ones who want to have fun as well.  This is the Pack’s 4th year participating in the event.

We are looking to have all scouts from the Pack join us in the 10 mile ride, which you can see the route in detail by clicking here.  This is a rain or shine event.  See the below checklist on what you need to have as a minimum to participate in the ride.  We are planning on  having all who participate in the ride wear specially made t-shirts that let all other riders know who we are!  Please email Pat Pacenza with shirt sizes & rider names by Monday, September 13th.

When registering, please fill out the form using the team name “Pack 175”.  This will ensure proper registration and waiving of the registration fee.  You will not need to pay the registration fee!

Bike tune-ups can be done at the park when you check in.  A professional bike team will be there to help inflate tires, adjust brakes, etc., at no extra cost.

A Family Fun picnic will follow the ride, where all family members are invited to have some great food, entertainment, do crafts, kids activities and enter to win prizes!

Parent Volunteers

In order to make this event a success, we need parent volunteers to help ride with the boys.  You may wish to ride with your son/child/children, being his mom or dad, or even your whole family can ride together with the Pack!  We need at least one adult for every 2-3 boys that participates in the ride.

Please contact Pat Pacenza ASAP to let him know if you will be a parent rider.
